SEED Berlin - Choosing the winners

The Volcom marketing and design team have just returned from Berlin where all 45 students from ESMOD presented their work to our 6 person judging panel. We were so impressed with what they have done with the garments we gave them - totally remaking and reinventing the pieces!
Just to recap, the aim of this SEED project was to reinvent an iconic streetwear garment so the students were given items such as a military jacket, denim pant, leather jacket or even a windbreaker! They then had to remake, update and reinvent the piece into a garment that would fit the typical Volcom consumer.
Here are some pictures from the day. And our announcement regarding the winners will be coming soon! The overall winner will have the chance to come to Volcom to create their own SEED capsule for Fall 2013! And before that we will have our SEED showcase event in Berlin in early 2012.
