In October 2009, the Year 2 Fashion Design and Development Students at London College of Fashion (LCF) were given pieces from the girls Volcom Brand Jeans collection - either a pair of jeans or a jacket, to create unique pieces that embody Volcom's vision of their womenswear market (female 15-25yrs), combined with the student's creative spirit.
Over 50 students were involved with the six month project. The Volcom marketing and design team visited LCF to help guide the students with their designs and garments. In January 2010 Volcom chose the final pieces to include in the SEED event along with deciding on the final winner!
